So glad you stopped by! I’m Gary Davis – a local Realtor, former teacher, and resident of St. Johns, Florida. I live here, I work here, and I encourage all of you to Experience St. Johns! We are right on the banks of the St. Johns River – 20 minutes west of the beaches of the Atlantic, 30 minutes south of bustling downtown Jacksonville, and 30 minutes northwest of the charming, historic streets of St. Augustine. Really … you can’t ask for more than that! Our sleepy little corner of the county is perfect for everyone: the best schools in the state make it a perfect place to raise a family, the quiet neighborhoods and many social groups are wonderful for retirees, and the close proximity to downtown Jacksonville and St. Augustine appeals to young professionals.
I moved to St. Johns in 2014 from Tallahassee for the reasons most people do: excellent schools, family-friendly communities, and proximity to beaches, water, and things to do. As with any move, it took me a while to get adjusted, but now I truly feel like St. Johns is home.
This website serves many functions – the greatest of which is, what I hope will be, a one-stop-shop for information on the town of Saint Johns. I live here, work here, and have made it my mission to become somewhat of a local expert. Back in February 2017, I launched a little Facebook page called, you guessed it, Experience St. Johns … which is probably how you found this website. We now have grown to over 14,000 members and the page has been a fantastic way to keep the residents of St. Johns connected and informed.
